This is the second collaboration between the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) and eminent conductor  Choo Hoey . Jin Li, the violin soloist will feature Legend of Luhuitou Village, a touching love story. Other works include the familiar melody of Fengyang Flower Drum and Reverie at the Statue of Sir Stamford Raffles. Written by former SCO conductor Qu Chun Quan, the latter pays tribute to Raffles and his struggle for a better Singapore.  Finally, Four Scottish Dance by British composer Malcolm Arnold, brings a distinct Scottish flavor to the evening, while the instrumental variation of Molly on the Shore by Percy Grainger is certain to electrify with its adrenalin-charged energy.
